💅 How to Apply Press-On Nails
- Wash and thoroughly dry your hands. Do not apply lotion or cuticle oil before application.
- Gently push back your cuticles using the included cuticle stick.
- Lightly buff your natural nails to remove surface shine. File the edges if needed.
- Clean each nail with the included alcohol wipe. Allow your nail beds to dry completely.
- Select the best-fitting press-on for each finger. It should cover from sidewall to sidewall without touching or overlapping your skin. Between sizes? Size up and gently file the sides.
-
Choose your adhesive:
- Nail glue provides longer wear.
- Jelly glue tabs provide shorter, more flexible wear.
- For glue application, apply a thin, even layer according to the adhesive directions. Avoid using too much glue and never allow adhesive to touch your skin.
- Position the press-on just above the cuticle at a slight angle, then lower it toward the tip. This helps create a natural appearance and prevents air bubbles.
- Press firmly for 30–60 seconds. Apply your thumbnails last for easier placement.
- Avoid water, steam, lotion and cuticle oil for at least one hour after application.
✨ You’re ready to slay!
Typical wear time: Nail glue: 7–14 days · Jelly tabs: 1–3 days
Wear time varies based on preparation, application, lifestyle and exposure to water.
🦶 How to Apply Press-On Toenails
- Wash and completely dry your feet and toenails.
- Remove old polish, lotion and oils.
- Gently push back the cuticles.
- Lightly buff the surface of each natural toenail.
- Clean each toenail with an alcohol wipe and allow it to dry completely.
- Select a press-on toenail that covers the natural nail without touching the surrounding skin. Between sizes? Size up and file for a customized fit.
- Apply your chosen adhesive according to its directions.
- Position the press-on slightly above the cuticle and press firmly for 30–60 seconds.
- Check that every toenail feels comfortable and does not press against the surrounding skin.
- Avoid water, steam, lotion and cuticle oil for at least one hour.
💖 Snazzi Safe Removal System ✨
Golden rule: Never force, peel or pull a press-on nail off.
Choose the removal method that matches your set and adhesive, and give your natural nails the gentle exit they deserve.
Method 1: Gentle Soak-Off
- Soak your nails in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes.
- Apply cuticle oil around the edges.
- Gently work around the sidewalls using the cuticle stick.
- Continue soaking if you feel resistance.
- Repeat until the press-on releases naturally.
- Gently buff away remaining adhesive.
- Wash, dry and moisturize your hands, feet and cuticles.
Method 2: Nail Debonder
- Apply a small amount of nail debonder around the edges where the press-on meets the natural nail.
- Allow it to sit for 30–60 seconds so it can begin breaking down the adhesive.
- Using a cuticle stick, gently work around the sidewalls and cuticle area.
- Reapply debonder as needed while slowly loosening the press-on.
- If you feel resistance, stop, apply more debonder and wait another 30–60 seconds.
- Once removed, gently buff away any remaining adhesive.
- Wash your hands or feet thoroughly.
- Finish with cuticle oil or moisturizing cream.
✨ Remove remaining adhesive from reusable press-ons and store them safely for your next slay.
💎 Handmade and Embellished Sets
Use the debonder method only for handmade, crystal, pearl and heavily embellished sets.
Soaking can loosen 3D artwork, pearls, charms and hand-set crystals. The Snazzi Safe Removal System helps protect your natural nails and your press-on set—keeping your handmade pieces reusable and gorgeous.
⚠️ Adhesive Safety
- Follow all instructions provided with your glue, jelly tabs and debonder.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
- Do not apply press-ons over damaged, irritated or infected nails or surrounding skin.
- Stop use if irritation or discomfort develops.
- Keep adhesives and debonder away from children and pets.
